  • Work with classmates to develop a set of classroom rules.
  • "Frindle" by Andrew Clements: Vocab Preview, Genre Discussion, Read text together

Homework

1. Write the following 8 vocab words from "Frindle" in a sentence (at least 6 words in length) that shows you know the meaning of the term - reputation, worshipped, essential, acquainted, assignment, expanded, procedures, guaranteed.

5W Writing Strategy: What are some important things the incoming 5th graders should know about Pine Grove?

1. Finish 5W Chart if needed
