Today is Day 1. We have..... a HALF DAY!

Our goals:

• I can write a clear thesis statement.
• I can write a well-organized argumentative essay.
• I can name the main idea of a part of nonfiction.

Our Agenda today is:

WRITING (8:00 - 9:30) - Argumentative Writing
READING (9:30 - 10:15ish) - Nonfiction / Conferences

Homework

Language Arts:
   1. Read 20+ minutes
   2. Finish argumentative essay (due tomorrow)

Math:

   1. 10 Minute Math Pages 15, 16, 17 (due Friday)
