2. Identify and correct spelling and grammar errors in writing.

Agenda

• Warm-up: Find new seat / record spelling scores in portfolio
• The City of Ember: Review reading / Continue reading Chapters 16 & 17 together
• Creative Writing: Create and share a brief story using a random selection of phrases.

Homework

1. Finish reading Ember Chapter 17
2. Complete a journal entry.
3. Bring to class "real life" examples of figurative language (Example: Headlines, Articles, Novels, Advertisments, Products, etc...)
4. Bring to class some unusual unwanted items to use in a project.
