Learning Goals

~I can use tables and graphs to show the relationship between two quantities.
~I can gather information about a topic to answer questions.
~I can put together information to write and speak knowledgeably on a subject.
~I can describe the parts of a flowering plant and explain their function.

Agenda (Day 1: Phy. Ed & Band)

  • Warm-up: Multiplication Review
  • Writing: Biography Project Essay / Creating a Bibliography / Memory Books
  • Math: Unit 8 (1.2) - "More Stories of Children's Growth" - Plotting Data with Charts and Graphs
  • Reading: Hatchet, Chapter 16 & 17

Homework

Language:
1. Work on Biography Bottle / Puppet
2. Read 20 minutes

Math:
Unit 8, Page 7 & 8

Health:
1. Snack Comparison (due Monday, May 20th)
2. Bring in Food & Activity Journal for at least one week - record everything you eat and amount and type of exercise.
